Our purpose as a non-profit organization is to provide our members with the best business retention programs available from training seminars, legislative action, import/export documents, marketing, advertising, networking and more.

Since 1912 the Montebello Chamber of Commerce and it’s Board of Directors has been dedicated to helping the business community by creating the programs and services that help businesses prosper and create a strong local economy which makes our community a great place to do business.
- A pro-business agenda that protects the interests of business
- Endorsed the city’s “color code” ordinance for businesses, to encourage and create an updated and customer friendly appearance.
- Encourage “Buy Montebello” to the community with business advertisements in Chamber newspaper directly mailed to businesses and every resident in the city.
- Sponsor New Business Receptions which welcomes new businesses
- Supported the Revitalization of the Whittier Boulevard Corridor
- Promoted Montebello businesses to over 1,000 attendees by hosting an annual Business Expo
