Joe - "America's movable fighting man" was a line of\n\nmilitary action-figures produced by the Hassenfeld Brothers\n\nof Pawtucket\, Rhode Island (now known as Hasbro today)\,\n\nback in 1964. The initial product offering represented four\n\nof the branches of the U.S. armed forces: Army\, Navy\, Air-\n\nForce\, and Marines.\n\n	The term G.I. stands\, in popular usage\, for Government Issue and became a generic term for U.S. soldiers.\n	After numerous changes and revisions over the passed five  decades\, G.I. Joe still exists to this day\, although the name  G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero now represents an entirespecial missions force\, rather than just a soldier named Joe!
