DESCRIPTION:A decision to donate your blood can save a life\, or even several if your blood is separated into its components   red cells\, platelets and plasma   which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions.   During the COVID-19 pandemic blood supplies are at a historic low. To aid with collecting donations\, Beverly Hospital is proud to be hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Tuesday\, August 18\, 2020 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.\n\n\n\nBeverly Hospital follows and exceeds all Centers for Disease Control guidelines in providing a safe environment for our patients and visitors.\n\n\n\nHelp those in need of blood by signing up for an appointment and donating. If you are unsure about your availability\, walk-ins are welcome. As a special offer\, eligible donors may receive a $5 gift card from Amazon.\n\n \n\nThe hospital and Red Cross will ensure precautions are in place for safe blood donation. All community members are encouraged to RSVP to donate desperately needed blood. Please visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter Sponsor Code: Beverlyhospital to schedule an appointment or call (323) 725-5032.
