Growth Opportunities for Small Businesses Offered by Goldman Sachs

    Entrepreneurship can be a tough path to follow, but it is not one you have to walk alone. Goldman Sachs is offering a free business growth education and mentorship program for small businesses in Fall 2020. The program is an opportunity to access financial, capital, and powerful networking opportunities for growing businesses. It gives business owners new skills and ideas they can share with their employees and implement in their workplace. 

    The 11-week program consists of one class per week and will begin August 27 and run through December 4, 2020. The program will be delivered at Long Beach City College and Los Angeles City College. Participants may attend at no cost, however, they must apply, interview and be accepted into the program. 

    To be eligible, applicants must be an owner or co-owner of a business, have been in operation for at least two years, must have had gross revenue in the last fiscal year of at least $150,000, and must have at least four full-time or part-time employees, including the owner.

    The deadline for the Fall 2020 cohort for the Long Beach program is April 1 and the final deadline is April 23, 2020.
