Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at The Shops at Montebello

The Shops at Montebello invites the local community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, between September 15 and October 15, by paying tribute of the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens with Spanish, Mexican, Caribbean and Central and South American ancestry. The center will host two special events on October 6 and 12 with entertainment and giveaways for attendees to enjoy.
 
On October 6, the center will host Steps of Gold Dance Company and Mariachi Potrillos from 1-2:30 p.m. in Center Court. Steps of Gold will perform a traditional Mexican folkloric dance and Mariachi Potrillos will entertain shoppers with their traditional mariachi music. The first 100 attendees will receive a gift bag filled with special offers. The center will provide complimentary churros and pan dulce while supplies last.
 
On Friday, October 12, join La Suavecita 107.1 in Center Court from 6-8 p.m. for another celebration of Hispanic heritage. Radio personality, Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo, from the popular radio show, “El Show de Piolin,” will make a special appearance at the event.
 
For the entire month, shoppers will notice signage honoring Hispanic heroes throughout the center.
