UNIFY’s 2019 Patricia R. Dempster Scholarship Accepting Applications

Update: Deadline Extended to March 20, 2019!  In honor of former Board member, Patricia R. Dempster, UNIFY Financial Credit Union created a scholarship fund to assist members who are high school seniors in pursuit of higher education.  To apply for the 2019 Patricia R. Dempster Scholarship, an applicant must be: 1) a current UNIFY member who is listed as the Primary Account holder (not as a joint account holder) in good standing; 2) a 2019 graduating high school senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale); 3) planning to attend an accredited 4-year college/university beginning Fall 2019.

The application process requires an online application form, two letters of recommendation, official school transcripts, and a typed essay (500 words or less) describing the applicant’s most significant challenge or accomplishment and its value to his/her life.  Application and all uploaded and mailed documents must be submitted by Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
