March For Montebello - presented by Y.A.M.S. (Youth Advocates for Montebello Servicing Our Community)

What is March for Montebello?
The March is an event to create awareness in the community about keeping our local money in our own city.

"SHOP in Montebello"
What does this mean?
For every dollar spent in the City we receive a portion of "Sales Tax Revenue."
The more we purchase in Montebello the further we can assist in changing and managing our own local economy.

Why is it important NOW?
Residents, students, and young people need to understand the value of what a small gesture means.  For example, filling your gas tank in Montebello instead of any other city.  Shopping and eating at local businesses rather than other cities surrounding us.  It is important because WE can make a difference TOGETHER through every small action.
