    Sponsors Needed for Doggy Waste Stations

    The City of Montebello’s Department of Recreation and Community Services is offering a great sponsorship opportunity for businesses, all while helping keep our parks clean. The new city program would place doggy waste bag stations in the City’s parks and each station will bear a plaque with the name of the sponsor or a beloved pet’s name if desired. Individuals may choose to sponsor more than one.

    Required Harassment Training for Companies with 5 or More Employees

    Effective January 1, 2019, California made a substantial change to mandatory sexual harassment prevention training. Now employers with five or more employees must provide this training to all supervisors and employees by January 1, 2020.

    2019 Labor Law Posters Already Need Update

    Less than a month into the new year, 2019 labor law posters released at the start of the year are already outdated. A new poster, "California Law Prohibits Workplace Discrimination and Harassment," must be posted in addition to the mandatory notices which were in effect at the start of the year.
